An Airplane in the Fruit Bowl

There's an airplane in the fruit bowl,
Along with some clean socks.
There's a pirate patch on the window sill;
A pocket full of rocks.
There are sneakers in the stairway,
Some dinosaurs in the tub.
Dandelions on the table-
Which were given with much love.
There are crackers in the cushions,
Pretzels on the floor.
Mickey is with the dishes;
Elmo is on the door.
There are train tracks through the kitchen,
And a bear watching T.V.
There's a firetruck in the bedroom
Rescuing my car key.

No, I am not crazy.
There is nothing wrong, you see.
I'm just mom to two kids,
And all is well with me.
